Jean-François et Pierre-Louis perpetuate the tradition of respecting the product through the respect of the land. Technology developments were quickly included to the process in order to exploit at best the potential of the 49 acre-vineyards. All the harvest is turned to wine in a modern wine storehouse, combining hygiene and work precision. The materials used are made of stainless steel for wine-making process and oak barrel for the growing of strong potential vintages.
Once bottled, the wines are stored for the ageing in the centre of the village, in vaulted cellars dating back to the 11th and 12th centuries. The labyrinthine network is a great tourist attraction for the village and the region.
All the vintages of Burgundy are present in Saint-Bris. Jean-François and Pierre Louis grow an area of 32 acres for white wines and 17 acres for red wines. The whole of the production is commercialized in bottles (120 000 bottles a year) with a high proportion to export (more than 50%).
However Jean-François and Pierre-Louis will always take care of their customers at the cellar, for visits and tastings, as they give priority to conviviality from Spring.
